God’s glory is on display.
Creation reveals God’s glory.
The wonders of the heavens draw our attention, prompt us to consider our place in the universe, and point to the One who created each star.
The heavens proclaim his righteousness;
all the peoples see his glory. (v. 6 CSB)
Jesus reveals God’s glory.
The Savior of the world came not as a conqueror, but as a baby. He became one of us, pitched his tent alongside us, and showed us God’s glory in person. He lived the perfect life of grace and truth that we were created to live. And He gave Himself for us on the cross so that we could have a relationship with the Father.
The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. We observed his glory, the glory as the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14 CSB
The heavens are declaring God’s glory.
Look at Jesus.
He is God’s glory.
Father, I see Your glory in the heavens and in all creation. Thank You for sending Jesus to reveal Your glory in person. Help me reflect Your glory today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
